New Zealand Business Health Insights 2021
Our latest New Zealand Business Health insights are summarised into a printable one-page factsheet of what 2,212 businesses told us about how they were coping during November 2021; just prior to the shift to the COVID-19 Protection Framework.
Our reports show:
- Significant deteriorations in business owner wellbeing and confidence from earlier in the year.
- High levels of concern about the impacts of restrictions, the clarity of the protection framework and supply chain disruptions.
- Considerable employer concern about staff wellbeing and the ability to access skilled labour.
Results are provided in a printable one-page factsheet, as well as a more detailed report.

2020 Business Health Insights
The 2020 research was conducted by independent agency Research New Zealand (RNZ) (with 2,280 respondents). Results are weighted to be representative of all NZ businesses by both industry and size. The insights are provided as a printable one-page factsheet, as well as a more detailed report.
